Safety

All parts supplied by COOKERHOOD FILTER LIMITED must be fitted by a competent person using the correct tools and test equipment and the appliance must be disconnected from the electrical supply.

Ordering and Payment

Goods are subject to availability. If, for any reason, we do not supply any goods, you will not be charged for those goods and we will refund any money that you have paid for them Payment must be made at the time of order. Your order will only be processed once COOKERHOOD FILTER LIMITED has received payment in full. COOKERHOOD FILTER LIMITED accepts Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch, Cheques, Money Orders and Postal orders. Cheques will only be accepted with a valid cheque guarantee card.

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

Delivery

Our delivery prices and methods available to our UK customers are:

  • Royal Mail 48 Tracked (2 - 3 working days) from £3.49
  • Royal Mail 24 Tracked (98% of orders arrive the next working day) from £5.49

Prices are subject to change depending on the weight of your order. If you are ordering outside of the UK delivery prices are calculated in the checkout.

All accepted orders of stock items made before 3pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) are despatched immediately with Royal Mail or our preferred Courier depending on the weight and size of the parts ordered. Delivery times may vary but most orders of stock items should arrive within 2 to 5 working days within the UK. Please contact us if you haven't received your order after 10 working days. Parcels that are sent with a courier can't be returned by our pre paid postage label, an alternative delivery method will be required which will not be refunded. Please note that all postage costs are calculated during the checkout stage. You are responsible for supplying your correct delivery address, incorrectly addressed parcels, at best, will be delayed by the carrier until they have manually confirmed the delivery details. The accuracy of an address can be verified by using the Royal Mail Address Finder. COOKERHOOD FILTER LIMITED can not accept responsibility for delayed parcels, or for parcels that have been delivered to an incorrectly supplied address.

For deliveries outside of the UK, we need to wait 3 weeks before a missing order can be declared "lost in transit". If your delivery address is outside of the UK, you may be required to pay import duties and taxes when your order reaches your country. These and any additional charges for customs clearance are your responsibility.

Returns

We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery.

Our FREE returns service is available within UK mainland only using our pre paid postage label (printer required). Commercial products are excluded from using our free returns label.

If returning your order with our UK returns label please ask for a receipt from the post office as proof of postage, as we may need this later.

Incorrect Goods

Please be aware that all items on the cookerhoodfilters.co.uk website are subject to design and specification changes. In view of this, the item supplied may not be an exact match for the original, but has been deemed, to be a suitable alternative. If you do receive incorrect goods from COOKERHOOD FILTER LIMITED please contact us immediately at support@cookerhoodfilters.co.uk so that we can arrange for delivery of the correct goods as soon as possible. Alternatively, you can cancel your order and we will refund your payment on receipt of the returned goods.

Damaged Goods

If goods arrive in a damaged state you must inform COOKERHOOD FILTER LIMITED within 7 days. We will replace the goods free of charge or refund any money that you have paid for those goods. If you do not notify us within 7 days of delivery, COOKERHOOD FILTER LIMITED cannot accept responsibility for goods stated to be damaged upon delivery.

Maintenance

We recommend to replace your charcoal filters every 6 months to maintain their performance.

If cleaning your metal grease filters by hand or in the dishwasher we recommend using non aggressive detergents which must be set to a low temperature and a short cycle. When washed in a dishwasher the grease filter may discolour slightly, however this does not affect its filtering capacity.

Refunds will be processed within 2 working days from the date the returned goods are received. Always obtain proof of posting when returning goods by mail as COOKERHOOD FILTER LIMITED can not accept responsibility for returned goods that are lost in transit. COOKERHOOD FILTER LIMITED will not accept any parcel that is sent without the correct postage, all such parcels will be treated as undeliverable by the carrier. COOKERHOOD FILTER LIMITED cannot accept returns for custom made products. It is illegal to sell ‘age restricted’ products to people under the required age. We offer several ‘age restricted’ products on this website, including knives and solvents. By ordering these products you confirm you (and, if different, the recipient of the product) are of the required age. All ‘age restricted’ products on this website can only be purchased by, and for, individuals aged 18 and over. All reference to manufactures names, part numbers and model numbers are for reference purpose only and are no way associated with the initial manufacturers parts.
